AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth eased into the semi-finals of the Adopt South Hampshire Women’s Senior Cup courtesy of a 14-0 win over Southampton Women reserves at Test Park on Sunday.

Erin Bloomfield led the way with a clinical double hat-trick against her former club as the Cherries overcame the latest hurdle in their pursuit of retaining the trophy they won last season.

Bloomfield, who had two spells with the Sirens, was joined on a lengthy scoresheet by Gemma McGuinness, Chloe Gilroy and Kenni Thompson.

McGuinness added four goals – her third seeing her register a third hat-trick of the season – while Gilroy hit three and recent recruit Thompson chipped in with arguably the pick of the bunch.
