AFC Bournemouth Women have been drawn away from home to Southampton Women FC in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Steve Cuss’ side beat Swindon Town on Sunday to progress, having previously brushed aside Feniton Town and New Milton Town in the earlier rounds.
The Women will now travel east on 27th October to face the Hampshire outfit, who play their football in the national league, one higher than the Cherries.
Following the draw, manager Cuss gave his thoughts to afcb.co.uk.
“We’re excited with the draw, it’s a really tough challenge for us,” he said.
“They’re going well in their league and to be away from home for us will mean it’s a stiff challenge, but we’re looking forward to it and we’ll give it our best.”
