AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth Women have captured the signing of Kelly Fripp from Southampton.

The Dorset-born centre-back joins on a permanent basis and becomes the side's third summer signing, with the signatures of Katie James and Charmaine True already sealed.

Fripp has been at Southampton since the age of 17 and last season played her football in the National League.

With the Cherries having their application of upward movement successful in May, she'll bring a wealth of experience to the team, who will be looking to continue their rise up the football pyramid.

After securing Fripp's signature, manager Cuss spoke with afcb.co.uk.

"We're delighted to have Kelly here at the club and she'll be a great addition.

"She's trained with us the last few weeks and we just can't wait to get started this Sunday away to Swindon."

Thank you for your support
