AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth Women have completed the signing of Sam Chrippes from Poole Town.
The goalkeeper joins having spent her entire junior and senior career with the Dolphins.
She possesses plenty of National League experience, having represented Poole Town in the division for over five years.
Chrippes was watching in the stands as her new team swept aside Southampton Women at Verwood Town on Wednesday evening.
The 25-year-old is now eligible for Sunday’s fixture away to Larkhall Athletic.
Upon signing for the Cherries, she spoke with afcb.co.uk about her excitement at the new challenge.
"I'm really excited and I'm really looking forward to it," she began.
"It's a really good opportunity and a great club, with great facilities as well.
"I know a few of the girls, which is nice. I used to play with Katie James when I was younger, as well as Maisy Smith and Charlotte Eastman at Poole.
"Everyone has been really friendly at training, everyone can have a bit of a laugh which helps and makes it a lot easier."
