Under-21 striker Jake Scrimshaw has completed a a loan move to Walsall until January.
At the Banks's Stadium Scrimshaw will link up with the manager Darrell Clarke, the Saddlers currently enjoying on an unbeaten start to their League Two campaign.
The 20-year-old spent time with National League side Eastleigh in the second half of last season, featuring nine times before the season was curtailed.
Previously, he had netted 17 times during a fruitful loan spell with Southern League South outfit Poole Town, with six of those goals coming on his debut in a 7-1 win over Portland United.
Scrimshaw has been a regular for the under-21s so far this season, scoring earlier this week in the Hampshire Senior Cup semi-final victory over Moneyfields.
