AFC Bournemouth Under-18s will begin their FA Youth Cup campaign against Mansfield at Vitality Stadium.

Under the lights at the stadium, Alan Connell's side head into the game unbeaten in their last 13 league games.

The game takes place at 7pm on Wednesday 12th December, with tickets available online by clicking here.

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for wheelchair users with personal assistants are free. Blocks 6, 7, 8 and 9 are open.

The game is set up to be a tight clash, the Cherries currently placed second in the Youth Alliance South West Division, while Mansfield are second in the North East Division.

Previewing the cup fixture with afcb.co.uk, under-18s manager Alan Connell said: "We’re expecting a tough game. They’re doing well in their league and they look like a team who have a real never-say-die attitude about them.

"It’s important that we’re aware of that but also look to play to our strengths in what will be a big occasion for the boys.

"I’m definitely hoping for a good crowd at the game. It’s the most prestigious competition that we play in, so we want to have a good run in it.

"It’s important that we get as much support as possible and give experience to the players playing at the stadium in front of a crowd in a cup tie. That’s what we want for these boys. The more people we can get in the ground the better.

"In the past, we’ve seen players come through in our youth system and play well in this cup who have gone on to have good careers, so hopefully Bournemouth fans will come along and see one or two who will go on and have good careers in the game. We’re really looking forward to it."

The AFC Bournemouth Under-18s side are sponsored by Strategic Solutions.
