AFC Bournemouth
Earlier this month, the under-18s squad joined in with the World Book Day activities at the Elm Academy in Bournemouth.
With students from the school dressed up as characters from their favourite books, the youth team members first joined in by reading with the pupils.
Following on from the classroom work the players and children headed to the hall to take part in some football-related reading activities together.
As in recent years, the aim of World Book Day this year was to share a story, celebrating the benefits of reading for pleasure and the importance of sharing a story.
