AFC Bournemouth under-18 centre-back Max Kinsey-Wellings has joined Gosport Borough on a work experience loan.

The move sees the defender switch a short stint with Southern League Division One South Wimborne Town for the Boro.

Kinsey-Wellings’ time at New Cuthbury comes to an end following three appearances for the play-offs chasing Magpies.

Over those three outings the young centre-back contributed to a clean sheet on his debut and netted in a 4-1 defeat to Frome Town.

Kinsey-Wellings picked up the man-of-the-match award for netting his first senior goal in the home fixture with Frome.

He now links up with fellow Bournemouth loanee Noa Boutin at Gosport, working under former Cherries midfielder and academy coach Mark Molesley.

Good luck on loan with the Boro, Max!
