AFC Bournemouth academy prospect Marcus Daws has joined Southern Premier South outfit Poole Town on a work experience loan.

Daws played a key role as Alan Connell’s under-18s won the EFL Youth Alliance title and reached the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup this season.

The midfield playmaker has continued to make eye-catching progress since joining the club’s academy ahead of the start of the 2020/21 season.

Daws, who can operate as a left winger or a number ten, trained with Scott Parker’s first-team squad during the first half of the 2021/22 campaign.

Previously on the books of Bristol Rovers and Southampton, Somerset-raised Daws has attended training camps with Northern Ireland under-18s.

The 18-year-old joins team-mates Jack Seddon and Noa Boutin at Poole and could feature when they host Walton Casuals at the Black Gold Stadium on Saturday.
