Come and watch the U21s take on Arsenal

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth's under-21s are taking on Arsenal in the Premier League Cup next week and you can come along to show your support.

Shaun Cooper's side will be in action at Vitality Stadium on Wednesday 6th October, with kick-off at 7pm.

The Cherries are in Group A alongside Southampton, West Brom and the Gunners, with next week's game forming their first at home in this year's competition.

Throughout the next few months, the under-21s will play all three other teams in their group both home and away, with the aim of finishing in the top two and progressing to the knockout stages.

Earlier in the week, Scott Parker hinted that the game with the Gunners could even see Lewis Cook's first competitive action since rupturing his ACL in March's 1-1 draw with Preston.

Additionally, the Premier League Cup has proved crucial for the development of first team players such as Jaidon Anthony, Jordan Zemura and Zeno Ibsen-Rossi, with next Wednesday providing an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the next generation of talent.
