Proud Cherries

Our new LGBT fan group, Proud Cherries, is now up and running. You can find out more about the group here or on Twitter and Facebook. The first Proud Cherries event is here at Vitality stadium on 21st September at 6:30pm and it would be great if you can come and support the group.

Sophie Cook, Cherries supporter and former club photographer, will be here for the event and it's great chance to hear her fascinating story and socialise with other Cherries fans. Fans are able to arrive without booking from 6:30pm.

England under-21s vs Latvia under-21s

It was great to see Lewis Cook picked to step up to the England under-21s squad and we are looking forward to the opportunity of seeing him represent his country at his home ground next Tuesday (5th September, 7:45pm kick-off). There is always a really good atmosphere at the international matches held at Vitality Stadium and with this being a qualifier, it should certainly be lively. Tickets are great value, with groups getting a further discount and charter standard clubs receiving ten free tickets.

If you are planning to attend, please do purchase your tickets in advance if at all possible to avoid queuing on the night and plan to arrive as early as possible. Click here for ticketing info.

Please arrive in good time

Entry into the ground was quicker around the stadium ahead of the Manchester City game and will continue to improve as fans get accustomed to the new entry system. Enhanced searching and bag search/tagging will continue to feature going forwards and will inevitably have an impact on the time it takes to enter the ground, so please try to arrive at the turnstiles in good time and don't bring a bag unless you really need to.

The next three matches, including the England game, are all evening kick-offs, with everyone having shorter pre-match lead times due to work, school, etc., so your assistance with this will be much appreciated.

New Ticketing Feature

For the first time, season ticket holders buying their seat for the Brighton Carabao Cup game can have their ticket purchase loaded directly onto their season ticket card. This means there is no need to wait for your ticket to arrive in the post and no booking fee or postage costs for season ticket holders attending the fixture. This is one of the features of the new turnstile entry and fans will see other benefits from the system implemented in due course.

Sticking with season ticket holders, you can apply now to upgrade to our Champions Restaurant for the next two games, Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester, at an exclusive season ticket holder discount. It's a great way to spend your matchday.

Fan Champion

We would like to invite Cherries fans to nominate a fellow supporter to take the match ball out through the tunnel and to place it on the special podium before kick-off at selected Premier League games. The idea, put forward by our intrepid PA Michael Botto, gives you the opportunity to put forward a fan you believe deserves a unique Cherries experience.

Bluebird Club Coach

If you haven't seen the story, click here to find out more about the upgraded coach that will be available for travelling fans. It's on show this evening, Thursday, between 5.30pm and 6.30pm so come and have a look and try for comfort. The club coach will be available to book from the Tottenham Hotspur away game.

While there will be a higher booking cost, the club intends to put any revenue above the hire cost back into something that will enhance the away travel experience. We will track the amount and ask travelling fans how best to use the funds for their benefit.
