AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Supporter focus groups

Cherries Trust and the club are taking a slightly different approach to the format of focus groups going forwards and we will be running a series of themed meetings to which all supporters can attend rather than being based on a specific supporter group. The first of these will be held this coming Monday 22nd November with a 6.30pm start and will be based around community and equality.

Steve Cuss, head of AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust will be there to talk about our work across our local community, the positive impact on people’s lives that can be achieved and also how this links with the club’s equality objectives.

It will give fans the chance to find out more about its nominated charity, the Cherry Tree Nursery, and how Cherries Trust and the club are supporting the charity

There will also be insight into the work of the Cherries Community Fund and a discussion of fan ideas on how this can be further developed. Steve will also highlight the progress made over the past few seasons in girls' and women’s football so there is a lot to talk about and share with supporters.

If any of this interests you then click here to find out more and register to attend with Kerry. We hope to see you here on Monday.

Giving something back

As a thank you to supporters for their support for the charity, the Cherry Tree Nursery is offering a 10% discount on their products during November and December to Cherries fans on production of a current season ticket card or match ticket.

The nursery is based off New Road roundabout, Northbourne, BH10 7DA.

Season ticket holders and Cherries priority points holders survey

If you are one of the above you should have received a link to a survey via an email on Monday 30th October.

It would greatly help us to receive this information and thank you to the 800+ supporters who have already completed this online survey.

If you have yet to do so click on the link that applies to you below, The closing date is Monday 20th November which means you still have time to give us your feedback and win a pair of Joshua King’s match-worn signed boots.

Ticketing update

We have issued just over 1,000 tickets so far from our 3,000 allocation for the Carabao Cup game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 20th December.

There are still tickets available for all of our December away games and full ticket details can be found here.

On the home front, the last two home games of 2017 went on sale this week and tickets for these fixtures against West Ham United on Boxing Day and Everton on 30th December are proving popular with supporters.

We have some big clubs visiting us in the near future and from experience this tends to lead to an upswing in our supporters selling tickets on to away fans. This was certainly the case for the recent Chelsea fixture as mentioned in my last update.

I can only reiterate that this causes issues on many levels and that the club will continue to take firm action against any supporter where this is proven to be the case. For the avoidance of doubt, this will involve a ban from attending games so please don’t be a party to this.

Looking forward to Saturday’s game against the Terriers

The match is themed for International Men's Day, kick-off is at 3pm and If you are attending the game, look out for your pre-match email giving you all the information you need for a great matchday.

Kelvin Trevett is our Fans’ Champion for this game so look out for him delivering the match ball prior to kick-off and give him lots of support.
