Junior Cherries

Screening event held for Junior Cherries

Junior Cherries who applied but were unable to attend the Christmas party, were invited to Vitality Stadium to watch the Everton game together on Sunday afternoon.

89 children were in attendance, as well as Cherry Bear, and both food and drink were available for lunch.

There were plenty of games throughout the afternoon and prizes, including signed merchandise, were up for grabs.

Additionally, Dinesh Gillela and Nnamdi Ofoborh from the under-23s were on hand to do some punditry, as well as give some insight to our young supporters on the life of an academy player.

Following the game, the children all had the chance to vote for their man of the match and it was Nathan Ake that they selected for the accolade, which was then published across our social media.

To round off the day, Junior Cherries then took part in a raffle with proceeds going to their nominated charity partner for the season, Gully’s place. In total, £148.00 was raised for the charity.

AFC Bournemouth would like to extend its thanks to the Junior Cherries partners; Hot Rocks, Lemur Landings, Splashdown Water Park and Bournemouth University.
