AFC Bournemouth are delighted to announce details of the Junior Cherries membership for the 2020/21 season.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of disruption to all of our lives, with our younger supporters particularly affected by lockdown and home-schooling.
The 2020/21 Junior Cherries membership is focused on engaging with our Junior Cherries at home, in our community and, as soon as is safe to do so, at AFC Bournemouth matches and events.
In order to offer Junior Cherries and their families the best experience of supporting AFC Bournemouth, the club have made some important changes to the membership.
One thing that will not be changing is the price, with membership remaining at just £7.50 for the entire season with all benefits included.
Benefits
The Junior Cherries events have always been popular, with the open training sessions and Christmas Party offering Junior Cherries the opportunity to meet the players and get closer to the action.
Although we may not be able to host events at the moment, the membership offers lots of ways to support the club and enjoy being a member.

New Age-Bands
From speaking with Junior Cherries and their parents, we have noticed that the perfect membership is very different for different age groups so we have created three new Junior Cherries memberships to appeal to three different age-bands. The new age-bands are:
Little Bears (0-4 years)
This membership is for the youngest Cherries, with a focus on Cherry Bear and entering the world of AFC Bournemouth.

The Young Bunch (5-10 years)
Our most popular age-band for Junior Cherries, The Young Bunch is aimed at primary school age children who love everything AFC Bournemouth. This age-group has loads of fun activities including great new benefits that can be enjoyed at a social distance.

Junior Cherries (11-16 years)
The final stage of Junior Cherries membership, the Junior Cherries age-band is for young adults who are passionate about the Cherries and want to get closer to the action. Benefits for this age-band include the popular masterclass series, focusing on key departments behind the scenes at AFC Bournemouth, and the opportunity to quiz a player.

The Girls Pathway
We are really excited to launch a new approach to our masterclass series with a special series of masterclass events that celebrate the women of AFC Bournemouth. The series will showcase the talents of the AFC Bournemouth Womens First Team and the key roles played by female staff throughout the Club.
We hope that this will encourage the girls amongst our supporters to follow their dreams and see a clear pathway to success in football.
Stadium and Events
We are all looking forward to hosting the first Junior Cherries event of the 2020/21 season however our first priority is the safety of our Junior Cherries so we are currently unable to host some of our great events. The events below are not confirmed, however if we are able to host Junior Cherries events during the 2020/21 season, these are some of the events we are looking to hold:

Junior Cherries Ballot
Once the club is able to welcome fans back to Vitality Stadium, we will restart the Junior Cherries ticket ballot. The ballot offers Junior Cherries the opportunity to apply to buy two tickets and has proven a really popular way for Junior Cherries to attend their first game.
