AFC Bournemouth
A number of Junior Cherries were given the opportunity to take a first-hand glance behind the scenes with the AFC Bournemouth sports science department in January.
The 24 lucky youngsters got a unique insight to the work that is undertaken by the department, covering everything from preparation and training to rest and recovery.
The group were given an exclusive tour around the first team pavilion facilities at Vitality Stadium, access to the players gym where they were put through their paces much like Eddie Howe’s squad and had the chance to ask the sports science team some questions.
