Junior Cherries enjoy open training session

Over 500 Junior Cherries descended on Vitality Stadium for yesterday morning's Splashdown and Lemur Landings open training session.

The first team squad, coached by Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall, trained at Vitality Stadium for an hour-and-a-half in front of a large crowd.

Passing and shooting drills were on the agenda, before the players cooled down following the session.

Junior Cherries were also treated to interviews with Simon Francis, Nathan Ake and Howe, who provided an update on his side's pre-season schedule.

A number of young supporters took part in football-oriented games, such as a keep-up challenge, whilst there was also entertainment from an illusionist, a football freestyler and face painters.

Additionally, with the reveal of our new third kit last week, Junior Cherries were able to purchase their shirts ahead of time, with exclusive access to those attending the session.

To round off the morning, all of the squad came to the stands to sign autographs and pose for photos following their training session.

The club would like to extend their thanks to the event sponsors, Splashdown and Lemur Landings. Both handed out back-to-school vouchers at yesterday's session, allowing Junior Cherries to bring a friend for free to either of the two attractions in Tower Park.

All annual offers from Junior Cherries partners are still in place.
