Join Junior Cherries for beach clean

AFC Bournemouth alongside Junior Cherries partner Hot Rocks are offering a unique opportunity to 30 Junior Cherries to take part in a beach clean on Wednesday 30th October, during half term.

The day will include a short presentation on the important part we can play in keeping our oceans and beaches free of rubbish, with Jordon Ibe set to join the event.

Junior Cherries will be kitted out with tabards and equipment for litter picking, including an AFC Bournemouth baseball cap.

The itinerary for the day is as follows:

• At 12:45pm, Junior Cherries will be dropped off at the Hot Rocks restaurant to meet the group and talk about why keeping our beaches clean is so important.

• 1:30pm the beach cleaning begins.

• After all the hard work it’s back to Hot Rocks for a well-deserved drink, something to eat and prizes.

• Parents/ guardians are asked to collect their Junior Cherries from Hot Rocks at 3pm.

Please note, Junior Cherries can only take part if they are aged eight or above as parents/guardians will not be accompanying them on the trip. Community Sports Trust coaches and staff will be supervising the children.
