Daisy wins beach clean competition

In partnership with the Dorset Devils, 40 Junior Cherries recently took to Bournemouth Beach to clean up litter and help keep the town clean.

The afternoon was dedicated to learning about recycling and single-use plastics, as the children started with a briefing at Vitality Stadium before heading to clean the beach.

And following the event, all children were tasked with designing a poster to demonstrate what they had learnt throughout the afternoon.

The purpose of the poster was to also help encourage fellow AFC Bournemouth fans put their waste in the bin and recycle.

Young supporter Daisy Rainbow had her poster chosen as the winner, with the design subsequently being printed and shown in the Junior Cherries fan zone ahead of every game.

Additionally, Daisy also wins a pair of signed Lewis Cook boots.

AFC Bournemouth would like to thank the Dorset Devils for their help during the day.
