Apply for special women's masterclass

AFC Bournemouth are proud to be hosting a Women in Sport virtual masterclass as part of International Women’s Day in February.

Five inspirational women within the sport industry will give a fascinating insight into their roles, how they got to where they are and how you can follow in their footsteps.

Taking place on Zoom on Thursday 25th February at 4pm, the women who will be talking about their experiences are:

Kelly Somers - Broadcaster for the BBC, Premier League and Amazon Prime.

Victoria McIntyre - Physiotherapist for AFC Bournemouth, Arsenal and Scotland.

Liz Finney - Operations Director at AFC Bournemouth

Alice Jeans - Club Secretary at AFC Bournemouth

Terri Harvey - AFC Bournemouth Women's Player & Bournemouth University Student

The session will consist of a short interview with each guest, conducted by former women's player and current member of the club's media team, Zoe Rundle, followed by an opportunity for a Q&A with each guest facilitated by Steve Cuss, Head of AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust.

Applications are open for female Junior Cherries aged 12-16 and ahead of the session, we want your questions for our panel. Simply click here to enter the ballot for the session and submit your questions.

Please note, we expect this event to be incredibly popular so a ballot process will take place to select attendees. This session is aimed at girls aged 12-16. Successful applicants will be notified of their place the week prior to the event.
