AFC Bournemouth and the Community Sports Trust are offering 24 Junior Cherries an opportunity to undertake the official FA Junior Football Leaders Award, completely free.

The FA Junior Football Leaders Award, awarded by FA Education, provides a basic introduction to the leadership skills required when involved in football.
The course introduces four areas: assisting football activity sessions, an introduction to refereeing, helping with a team and different football events. In addition to these areas, respect as well as promoting and developing the game are covered.
You will need to be aged between 12 and 16 to apply and available on Tuesday 29th October from 11am-5pm. We are looking to have a good mix of boys and girls taking part in the vent, which is being held at Vitality Stadium.

The day will include a mix of theory and practical work at the stadium and on our 3G pitches and to make this course even more attractive to our young Cherries fans, there will be direct coaching to the group by first team and women’s coaching staff and players, alongside our Community coaches.
Participants will also have the chance to quiz them on coaching and being part of the team.
