Wilson's ePL match postponed

Due to technical difficulties, Callum Wilson's opening ePL Invitational match was postponed on Tuesday evening.

Wilson was due to take on James Maddison and his Leicester City side in the tournament, which pits Premier League stars and supporters against one another on FIFA 20.

Last month Philip Billing was the first Cherries man to compete, defeating Southampton's Angus Gunn before losing out in a hard-fought match to Brighton's Neal Maupay.

Wolves' Diogo Jota was the inaugural winner of the ePL Invitational Tournament, overcoming Liverpool and Trent Alexander-Arnold in a well-contested final.

A host of Premier League stars and celebrity fans will be taking part in the contest this time around, including Phil Foden and cricketer Jofra Archer taking control of the two Manchester clubs, while Max Meyer (Crystal Palace) and boxer Tony Bellow (Everton) will also be looking to represent their teams well and guide them through to the weekend's final.
