Wilson and Fraser recognised by Premier League

AFC Bournemouth pair Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson have been recognised by the Premier League after they reached 100 appearances in the competition this season.

The duo were presented with a special commemorative medal by Cadburys in line with their relationship with the Premier League.

Both Wilson and Fraser clocked up their centuries in October when the Cherries visited Vicarage Road to face Watford.

During their century of appearances, the duo made Premier League history in 2018/19, surpassing Alan Shearer and Mike Newell’s 11 combined goals set in 1995/96 – Fraser and Wilson reached 12 which is the most ever in a 38-game season.

Wilson made his Premier League debut back in 2015/16 during the Cherries’ first top-flight season, and has since gone on to make his senior England debut, score his first international goal as well as plunder 38 Premier League strikes.

Fraser on the other hand made his debut a season later in the first ever Premier League game at West Ham’s London Stadium.

The 25-year-old registered 14 assists in 2018/19, which is the most any Cherries player have ever made in a single top-flight campaign.
