Voting for the AFC Bournemouth Michael Matthews Player of the Month award for November is now open.

During what was a frustrating month, the Cherries were beaten in all three of their Premier League games in November.

Despite the results, a number of players impressed with their performances, notably goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international made a series of impressive saves between the sticks, particularly during the narrow 2-1 away defeat at Newcastle.

Club captain Simon Francis is also in contention for the award after playing every minute of action through the three games.

Midfielders Ryan Fraser and Jefferson Lerma, who netted his first goal for the club against Newcastle, round off the nominees for the award.

Supporters can have their say on which of the four players wins the award by heading to the club’s official Twitter account, @afcbournemouth, and voting on the poll.

The winner of the award will be announced in the run up to the Cherries’ game against Manchester City.
