Jason Tindall is looking forward to being reunited with former colleagues as Crawley Town visit Vitality Stadium for tomorrow evening’s FA Cup fourth round clash.

Visiting manager, John Yems, was previously the club’s football operations manager, having spent six-and-a-half years with the Cherries.

Assistant manager, Lee Bradbury also has his connections on the south coach, having spent four seasons playing for the club and taking over as manager for 14 months in January 2012.

With the tie a little over 24 hours away, Tindall has spoken to the media and admitted he has nothing but admiration for the job that the duo are doing in West Sussex.

“Full credit to John Yems and Lee Bradbury, as well as the rest of the staff there,” he began.

“They’re doing a fantastic job and for the club to be where they are, at the top end of the table competing for promotion, is an incredible achievement so credit to those guys.

“They’re unbeaten in ten and to do that in any league is a brilliant achievement. They’re doing a great job at Crawley with the players they’ve brought in.”

Tindall went on to discuss not only the job that is being done at Crawley, but the legacy that was left behind at Vitality Stadium.

“You’ve also got to credit to Lee Bradbury for what he did here when he was manager.

“Sometimes we forget that he signed some fantastic players for the football club that helped us achieve what we did – Tommy Elphick, Steve Cook, Simon Francis and Charlie Daniels.

“Those players were so important to the success this club had and I think he has to take a lot of credit for that.

“It’s good to see that two people who were here have gone on to do really well for themselves and they’re doing a great job at Crawley.”

With Crawley in excellent form coming into the clash and well-placed in League Two, Tindall knows all too well the threat they bring and quality they possess.

“You only have to look at their performance against Leeds,” he continued.

“I watched that game and I thought they were excellent on the day. They comfortably won it and they certainly were a tough side to play against.

“Leeds are a strong team, a Premier League team going extremely well, but they found it very difficult. That’s credit to Crawley and how difficult they made it for them.

“We know they’ll come here and want to get the same kind of result that they did against Leeds. They have nothing to lose and we’ve been there before where it’s a free game and a free hit.

“They’ll come here, they’ll give everything, but we need to make sure we do our bit and deliver a good performance ourselves.”
