New signing Dango Ouattara makes his AFC Bournemouth debut against Nottingham Forest, one of no fewer than five changes to the starting line-up.

Ouattara, who this week joined the Cherries from Ligue 1 outfit FC Lorient, will become only the second player from Burkina Faso to feature in the Premier League.

Countryman Bertrand Traore became the first Stallions player to line up in the top flight when he came off the bench in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat by the Cherries in December 2015.

Winger Ouattara, 20, has enjoyed a breakthrough season in France, netting six goals and supplying six assists in 18 appearances for Lorient.

Cherries head coach Gary O’Neil also drafts in defenders Adam Smith, Jack Stephens and Jordan Zemura together with midfielder Joe Rothwell, who makes his first Premier League start.

Smith’s 295th league game for the club sees him draw level in 11th place with Simon Francis on the list of AFC Bournemouth’s all-time leading appearance-makers.

Development squad frontmen Euan Pollock and Dominic Sadi are named on the bench for the Cherries, as is under-18 striker Daniel Adu-Adjei.

Former Cherries pair Steve Cook and Sam Surridge are both named among the substitutes for Nottingham Forest.

AFC Bournemouth: Neto, Smith, Stephens, Kelly, Zemura, Anthony, Lerma, Rothwell, Christie, Ouattara, Moore.
