The Cherries prepare to host Sheffield United on Saturday with no new worries in terms of player availability.

The hectic schedule continued in midweek with a 0-0 draw at Peterborough United, though Scott Parker has reported that he has no fresh injuries to contend with in his squad.

The head coach spoke to the media at Vitality Stadium ahead of the weekend in his pre-match press conference.

"No injury concerns," he said. "Everyone's come out of Wednesday night, some tired bodies but we've prepared well and recouped ready to go tomorrow."

The head coach made three changes in the London Road fixture, and he explained the need to keep his side fresh under the high rate of matches.

"It's very nice, we have a group of players here and the ability to be able to freshen things up when we need to," he said.

"This is a tough league that we're in and with the position that we want to be in this year in the table we're going to have to use our squad.

"I trust the squad and the players I have at my disposal, it's nice for me to have that."

Earlier this week Parker revealed Lewis Cook was being pencilled in for a competitive return for the under-21s in their Premier League Cup match with Arsenal at Vitality Stadium next Wednesday evening.

The minutes would be the first for the midfielder since he suffered a serious knee injury away at Preston North End in March.

"That's still the case," said Parker of Cook's planned return. "Lewis is scheduled in to play against Arsenal next week.

"Touchwood he's still on the right track. He's training with us, looking very well. The next target for him now is the game and getting through that."
