Team news: King & Rico ready, Mepham missing

Joshua King is primed for a return and could feature in Tuesday's Vitality Stadium match with Wycombe Wanderers.

That's according to Jason Tindall, who spoke to afcbTV on the eve of the visit of the Chairboys.

"Josh King's back has settled well in the last couple of days," said the manager. "He's going to go out there and train again today (Monday). We're hoping to have Josh available for Tuesday."

Diego Rico is in line for a return after missing Saturday's win over Huddersfield due to a one-game suspension for picking up five yellow cards.

However, the home side will be without Chris Mepham, who also missed the Terriers match, with the defender expected to be sidelined for up to a fortnight through injury.

Elsewhere in the squad, forward Arnaut Danjuma is also struggling.

Tindall elaborated: "Meps unfortunately picked up a calf injury, which was a bit of blow for us. It's something that's not too bad and we're hoping to have him back in the next couple of weeks.

"He's certainly not going to be available on Tuesday.

"Arnie we're just being a little bit careful with, he's probably still not 100% fit but he's getting there and he's very close.

"Thankfully everyone came through Saturday's game okay, it was a really big physical performance from everybody.

"We assessed everyone this morning and will do so again on Tuesday, but we have no real concerns and hopefully we should have everyone back fit."

With the Cherries heading into their eighth game in just 24 days sitting second in the Championship table, Tindall says he is pleased with the mentality of his squad.

"Confidence is high," he said. "I've felt we've been playing really well in the last few games especially and we backed that up with a really good team performance against Huddersfield on Saturday.

"We just need to now make sure we're fully prepared and ready for what's going to be another tough game against Wycombe."
