Eddie Howe says he expects striker Joshua King to be fit for the weekend's Premier League game against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Howe confirmed he had no new injury concerns and that his side were raring to go.

"We’re in a pretty good position," said Howe. "A couple of players have picked up little knocks but they should be okay.

"Joshua King had a knock previously but for Fulham he should be okay.

"On the training pitch it’s a place where we work hard and I set high standards for the players, pushing them to reach their maximum level.

"I love working with the players, their attitudes are second-to-none and it’s a good place to be.”

Howe also assessed the Cottagers, noting his admiration for his opposite number Slavisa Jokanovic for continuing to play with the same style that got the side promoted last season.

He added: "They’re a very good team. I have a lot of respect for their manager, getting promotion with two different clubs.

"Their style of play drew plaudits last year and they haven’t changed, I have a lot of respect for that."
