Team news: Kerkez returns to Cherries XI

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth have made one change from the side that defeated Burnley in this afternoon's Premier League game with Manchester City.

Milos Kerkez replaces Antoine Semenyo in the starting XI as Andoni Iraola names his squad, which appears to be set up in a back-five.

Kerkez may be allowed license to roam forward against the reigning champions, with Lloyd Kelly returning to the team, having been rested in the midweek Carabao Cup game with Liverpool.

The midweek goalscorer Justin Kluivert is named on the substitutes bench, alongside Mark Travers, David Brooks, Joe Rothwell, Dango Ouattara, Adam Smith, Luis Sinisterra, Antoine Semenyo and Marcos Senesi.

If Smith was to come on for the Cherries, it would mark his 350th club appearance.

Manchester City have made four changes to their team that defeated local rivals Manchester United last weekend.

Manuel Akanji, Mateo Kovačić, Jeremy Doku and Cherries legend Nathan Aké come in, whilst Rúben Dias, Joško Gvardiol, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden move to the bench.

Manchester City: Ederson, Walker (C), Stones, Aké, Kovačić, Haaland, Doku, Rodri, Alvarez, Silva, Akanji.

Subs: Dias, Phillips, Grealish, Gvardiol, Nunes, Foden, Bobb, Lewis, Ortega (g/k).

AFC Bournemouth: Radu, Kerkez, Kelly (C), Mepham, Solanke, Christie, Scott, Tavernier, Zabarnyi, Philip, Aarons.

Subs: Brooks, Rothwell, Ouattara, Smith, Sinisterra, Kluivert, Semenyo, Senesi, Travers (g/k).

Referee: Craig Pawson
