Arnaut Danjuma and Joshua King are close to fitness and could feature in Friday evening's match away to Barnsley.
Danjuma has missed the last two matches with a minor hamstring injury, while King has been sidelined after a positive recent Covid-19 test.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the televised trip to Oakwell, manager Jason Tindall outlined the duo's availability.
"He's progressing really well, Arnie," he said. "We're really pleased with where he is at the minute.
"We assessed him this morning and we will assess him tomorrow to see where he's at and if he's ready, he's certainly not too far away.
"Josh is doing really well, we've done a lot of physical work, he's had four really good days training where he's trained really hard and looked sharp and bright.
"He is certainly someone who's very very close and someone who will add good strength to the current squad that we have available to us.
"We have no fresh injury concerns, thankfully everyone came through the Preston game okay, just as you'd expect with a lot of fatigue off the back of the schedules that we've had.
"We have a few knocks and bruises but there's nothing too concerning."
Cameron Carter-Vickers will not be travelling to South Yorkshire, the on-loan defender remaining sidelined with his ankle injury.
"Cam is unfortunately still going to be a good two or three weeks away at least before he's able to do anything out on the training ground," said Tindall.
"He's progressing well, as well as he can do at this early stage, and it's one that we'll monitor on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis.Â
"We're hoping to have him back in the next two or three weeks as long as there are no further setbacks, that's one that's not quite right for us yet."
Despite the loss to Preston on Tuesday, the squad was buoyed by the introduction of academy graduates Jaidon Anthony and Sam Surridge from the bench, the pair combining to score the Cherries' second goal.
"Everyone's important, the young guys who have come into the first-team squad this season have warranted their places because of their performances in training, and when they've got their opportunities they taken them.
"It was a great evening for Jaidon on Tuesday, albeit the result wasn't what we wanted and what he would have wanted. He came on, got the opportunity on his 21st birthday and I felt he grabbed it with both hands.
"I was very pleased with what he delivered, a great bit of play and the assist for Sam's goal, he's certainly taken the opportunity that he had.
"So did Sam, every time I've called upon him he's delivered a really good performance and he's always good for a goal.
"Both of those lads are going to be very important for us with the schedule ahead."
