Team news: Brooks captains strong Cherries team

Andoni Iraola has named a strong Cherries team for the Emirates FA Cup game with Queens Park Rangers.

He makes seven changes for the fixture but retains a strong core to the team, with David Brooks being named as captain.

Mark Travers makes his first appearance of the season for the club in goal with Max Aarons making his first start since a hamstring injury.

Chris Mepham starts against the team he grew up supporting, partnering Marcos Senesi in the centre of defence with the Argentinian due to miss the club's next Premier League game with suspension.

Marcus Tavernier starts at left-back with Lewis Cook, Alex Scott and Philip Billing lining up in midfield.

Brooks and Luis Sinisterra are named as wingers with Kieffer Moore leading the line for the Cherries.

On the bench, Iraola retains the right to turn to Illia Zabarnyi, Joe Rothwell, Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert with Emiliano Marcondes named in the squad for the first time this season.

Academy talents Ben Greenwood and Daniel Adu-Adjei are also listed as substitutes, alongside Gavin Kilkenny and Andrei Radu.
