AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of defender Jack Stephens on a season-long loan.
The 28-year-old arrives from Southampton and becomes the Cherries’ sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
The centre-back graduated from Plymouth Argyle’s academy, joining the Saints in April 2011.
An eight-time England under-21 international, Stephens enjoyed loan spells with Swindon Town, Middlesbrough and Coventry City between 2013 and 2016.
He broke through at St Mary’s Stadium in 2016/17 and has since racked up more than 100 Premier League appearances.
Neill Blake, AFC Bournemouth Chief Executive, said: “We’re very pleased to bring Jack to the club and he strengthens our defensive options. He brings with him significant Premier League experience and I’m sure will prove a very valuable addition both on and off the pitch.”
