Stanislas - The win is massive

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Junior Stanislas hailed the result against Stoke City as "massive."

Stanislas set up Andrew Surman's wonderful strike before dispatching a penalty to hand the Cherries their first away Premier League win of the season.

Here's what the match winner told afcbTV after an eventful game at the bet365.com Stadium.

ON THE WIN...

We haven't picked up too many results this season and where we are in the table the most important thing is the three points.

It's a massive win for us.

We had a great start, we were against the ropes at times but we dug in at times and defended well.

ON A QUICK START...

Historically we do start quickly. This season we haven't scored many goals but it was a great start today, a platform for us to protect.

I think we did that really well, this is a really difficult place to come. They're a big physical team and they put balls in the box.

The lads at the back were great, and it's a big win.

ON BEING INVOLVED IN THE TWO GOALS...

The first was a good breakaway, a good cut back from Smudge (Adam SMith), I managed to put some good weight on the ball for Surs and he does what he does this season!

A great finish from him.

As for the penalty, Benik is a striker and of course wants to score goals, but I was confident, I wanted to take the penalty and I'm glad to get off the mark.
