Squad set for Dubai training camp

The AFC Bournemouth first team squad and staff will head to Dubai for a mid-season training camp during the upcoming international break.

Eddie Howe's squad will base themselves at the state-of-the-art Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex as all focus turns towards the Cherries’ Premier League run-in.

"We'll be going away again to train in a different environment over the international period," Howe said.

"It's something we've done historically and it has always given the players a bit of a lift.

"Our training ground here is a beautiful place, but a change to the environment and surroundings for where our players and staff are can be a good thing."

It will be the Cherries' third consecutive visit to the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, with similar training camps held during the club's two previous campaigns.

The Cherries departed following the conclusion of today's dramatic 2-2 draw with Premier League rivals Newcastle United at Vitality Stadium.
