Lewis Cook has moved to the number four, worn in recent years by Dan Gosling, while 'keeper Mark Travers has decided to move back to the number 42 having switched last season to 23.

New signing Leif Davis takes the vacant number 20, with Emiliano Marcondes to wear the number 11 most recently worn by Jack Wilshere.

Speaking to afcb.co.uk Cook explained: “It’s a number that I’ve grown up wearing when I was playing in the England youth teams, it means quite a lot to me.

"I fancied a little change so I’m looking forward to wearing it and getting back on the pitch.

“I requested it myself, obviously Goso [Gosling] had it before and I spoke to him before I took it. It means a lot to me and hopefully I can get it back on soon."
