AFC Bournemouth will face Spanish side Sevilla in July as part of a pre-season training camp on Spanish soil.

The Cherries will travel to the La Manga Club sport resort, in Murcia, from 10th-21st July as they step up their preparations for the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

While based in south-east Spain, Eddie Howe’s side will play a friendly fixture against Sevilla on Saturday, 14th July (8pm kick-off local time), at the nearby Pinatar Arena, which has a 3,500 capacity.

Ticket details for the fixture will follow in due course.

Sevilla, who are managed by Pablo Machin, finished seventh in La Liga last season, as well as reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.

They boast former Manchester City duo Jesus Navas and Nolito, and ex-Stoke and Blackburn midfielder Steven Nzonzi among their ranks.

The Sevilla fixture is a fourth pre-season friendly for AFC Bournemouth so far, with trips to Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, and a home game against Real Betis already confirmed.
