Spain training camp and Estoril friendly announced

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth will face GD Estoril Praia in Spain in July, in their only pre-season friendly on foreign soil.

The Cherries will face the Portuguese side on Saturday, 15th July, at the Stadium Municipal Marbella, in Marbella, kicking off at 7pm local time.

Admission is free at the 7,300-capacity stadium, and AFC Bournemouth supporters can secure their tickets in the normal way - online, over the telephone and in person at the Vitality Stadium ticket office.

Supporters will be issued with an email receipt, which can be used to gain entry to the friendly fixture.

Estoril finished tenth in the Primeira Liga last season and are managed by former Porto Champions League-winning defender Pedro Emanuel.

The fixture comes at the end of a closed pre-season training camp in the Costa del Sol.

AFC Bournemouth will be based at the Marbella Football Centre from Friday 7th-Sunday 16th July, where they will step up their preparations for the 2017/18 Premier League season.

The Estoril fixture is a fifth pre-season friendly for Eddie Howe’s side, with trips to Portsmouth, Queens Park Rangers and Yeovil Town, and a home game against Valencia already confirmed.
