AFC Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke has been nominated for Sky Bet Championship’s Player of the Month for April.
The Cherries man has been rewarded for scoring six goals in eight games in the month as the club edged closer to automatic promotion, which was confirmed in May.
It marks the second successive nomination for Solanke, who also got a nomination for March’s award.
The 24-year-old, who also grabbed one assist in April, was one of three nominees for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season, and was named in the division’s Team of the Season.
His fellow nominees are Brennan Johnson (Nottingham Forest), Joel Piroe (Swansea City) and Harry Toffolo (Huddersfield Town). The winner will be announced at 6am on Friday via the EFL’s social media channels.
