AFC Bournemouth are delighted to announce that Dominic Solanke has signed a new four-year contract with the club, keeping him at Vitality Stadium until 2027.

The forward, who has been with the Cherries since January 2019, has 179 appearances in red and black.

Solanke has two goals from the opening four Premier League games of the season, while he also bagged an assist at Anfield against his former club in August.

The number nine, who celebrates his 26th birthday today, played a pivotal role as the Cherries regained their top flight status in 2021/22, netting 29 goals and bagging seven assists across the course of the campaign.

His performances saw him named in the Sky Bet Championship team of the season and the PFA team of the season, before he went on to help the club maintain their Premier League status in 2022/23.

Following the news, Neill Blake, AFC Bournemouth Chief Executive, shared his delight.

“We’re thrilled to have someone with such calibre as Dom commit his future to the club having already enjoyed many successful moments together.

“He’s a player and a person that we value extremely highly both on and off the pitch and we’re excited to continue working with him.

“I’m thoroughly looking forward to seeing what the next few years have in store and I’m sure together we can continue our success at the highest level of football.”
