Sinisterra stars in dramatic first day of internationals

Luis Sinisterra put in a game-changing performance as Colombia claimed victory over Brazil.

Brazil had taken an early lead through Gabriel Martinelli before Sinisterra was called upon during the half-time break.

He provided real impetus to the Colombian attack, having a 100% dribble success rate and creating three chances in a starring performance.

They were able to complete the comeback through a Luis Diaz double, with the Liverpool man celebrating in emotional scenes with his father watching on in the crowd, days after being released from a kidnapping.

The win moves Colombia up to third in the South American World Cup qualifiers after five games, being the only team yet to lose. A game against Paraguay follows this month.

Milos Kerkez was sent off in Hungary's draw with Bulgaria but was celebrating at the end of the game as they confirmed their place in UEFA EURO 2024.

The young defender had been booked in the first half before receiving his second yellow card for a strong challenge on 57 minutes.

Hungary had taken the lead through Martin Ádam but Bulgaria took control of the game through Spas Delev and Kiril Despodov, although they were also down to ten men.

However, an own-goal by Aleks Petkov in the 97th minute sparked jubilant celebrations and confirmed Hungary's spot in Germany next summer.

Ryan Christie and Scotland's game with Georgia was just as dramatic as they also clinched a late equaliser.

Christie started and played 45 minutes in a fiesty game, a double by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sandwiching a Scott McTominay strike.

Heading into injury time, substitute Lawrence Shankland headed home the equaliser to confirm a point for Scotland.

Whilst having already qualified for UEFA EURO 2024, Scotland know that if they beat Norway on Sunday and Spain lose to Georgia, they'll clinch top spot in Group A.
