AFC Bournemouth are delighted to announce that winger, Luis Sinisterra, has joined the club on a season-long loan with a potential option to purchase.

Sinisterra becomes the Cherries’ eighth recruit of the summer in a deal that sees Jaidon Anthony go out on loan the other way.

The Colombia international, who has three goals in seven appearances for his country, links back up with Tyler Adams, who also made the move from Leeds last week.

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: “We’re delighted to bring Luis to the club and I have no doubt that he’ll be a superb addition to our squad.

“He’s a player that has already experienced Premier League football and has featured at the top level in Europe too, so we’re really looking forward to having him with us.”

Born in Santander de Quiliachao, Sinisterra started his career with Colombian top division side Once Caldas, making his debut in 2016.

Two years later, he made the move to Europe, signing for Feyenoord and playing alongside Cherries centre-back Marcos Senesi for three years from 2019.

22 goals in 103 appearances caught the eye of Leeds United, where he signed in the summer of 2022 and netted eight times in 27 games.
