Ref watch: East to officiate Terriers clash

Roger East will be the man in the middle of Tuesday night’s fixture against Huddersfield Town at Vitality Stadium.

The 53-year-old has taken charge of just two Premier League fixtures this season, handing out eight yellow cards, no red cards and awarding just the one penalty.

Additionally, he officiated last week’s Carabao Cup fixture between Southampton and Leicester, with the latter winning 6-5 on penalties.

East last took charge of the Cherries in February’s 2-2 draw against Newcastle, with goals from Adam Smith and Dan Gosling producing another memorable comeback.

On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Adrian Holmes and Mark Scholes, with Lee Probert the fourth official.
