Roger East will officiate the weekend’s Premier League between AFC Bournemouth and Watford at Vitality Stadium.
The game will be the Wiltshire-based referee’s second of the new season, after he oversaw the League One game between Bradford and Blackpool earlier this month.
The last time East was in charge of a Bournemouth came last November, when Nathan Ake’s goal secured three points for the Cherries away at Stoke City.
Throughout the course of the 2016/17 season East officiated 33 games, showing 140 yellow cards and five reds.
East will be joined by assistants Mark Scholes and Sian Massey-Ellis and fourth official Chris Kavanagh.
