Talented winger Todd Cantwell joins the Cherries as the fifth signing of a memorable deadline day.

Born in Dereham, Cantwell signed for hometown club Norwich as an under-10, progressing through the academy system.

His impressive performances for the Canaries youth team meant he was shortlisted for the Premier League Two Player of the Season award for the 2016/17 season.

His professional debut came in a FA Cup tie with Chelsea in January 2018, before joining Fortuna Sittard on a loan until the end of the season.

Cantwell made 10 appearances for the Dutch side, scoring two goals and setting up three as they secured promotion to the Eredivisie.

Upon his return to Carrow Road in 2018/19, Cantwell made 27 appearances in all competitions to help Norwich secure the Championship title, his second promotion in as many seasons.

Cantwell shone on his debut season in the top flight, scoring seven goals in 40 games in all competitions, finding the net against the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

The 23-year-old continued to impress despite Norwich’s relegation, scoring six goals and grabbing seven assists in 33 games last season as the Canaries once again secured the Championship title.

A four-time England under-21 international, Cantwell arrived at Vitality Stadium on deadline day as the seventh signing of the January window.
