AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of Lys Mousset on a four-year deal from Le Havre Athletic Club.
An unknown quantity in this country, we take a look at Mousset's career so far as he starts the new chapter of his life at Vitality Stadium.
Mousset was born in the Haute-Normandie region of northern France in 1996 and joined Le Havre’s prestigious academy at the age of 10.
Having played all the way through the ranks, Mousset eventually broke into the first team set-up last term and scored 14 goals and made three assists in 29 appearances.
Although the 20-year-old can play off both wings, he is predominantly a centre forward and that is where he played the majority of his games last term.
The forward has already featured eight times for the national under-20s side. Mousset also played in the Toulon tournament this summer, where France were defeated 2-1 by England in the final.
