Pre-Season Player Diaries: Kieffer Moore

Kieffer Moore becomes the third player to give his pre-season diary after an exciting summer on and off the pitch.

It was an amazing summer. Getting promoted was unbelievable, I went away to Dubai and got engaged to my partner, then we qualified for the World Cup with Wales. It's been unbelievable.

I had that last bit of rest afterwards and now I'm back to it. I wouldn't say I got too much time off, maybe a week before linking up with Wales.

I was then there for three weeks and had two weeks off. I had a slight problem with my back, so had to withdraw from the last couple of games. I went through rehab for that and now I'm in a good place for pre-season.

Pre-season is really good. It's hard, very demanding and tough but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's probably one of the most difficult ones I've had for a long time.

It's all about the hard work, testing yourself and seeing how much you can get out of yourself. It's about pushing boundaries.

We're back in the Premier League, it's my first season in the Premier League and I think we're all eager to show our stuff. Being the fittest we can be is going to help and that's what pre-season is for.

We've got two games here in Portugal. I think training in the heat makes things ten times more difficult, so if we can get through that then it'll definitely help us when we get back.

It's always good going away for pre-season. We have that team bonding and hard work throughout, and it's going really well so far.
