Player of the Month: Voting open for May award

Voting for the final Michael Matthews Player of the Month award for the 2016/17 season is now open.

Four players are nominated for the May gong, after three games saw the Cherries end the month undefeated.

Junior Stanislas found the back of the net in all three of the month’s games, at home against Stoke City and Burnley, and away at Leicester City.

Joshua King is also nominated for the award, after netting the winner against Burnley and playing a key role in the equalising goal against Stoke City.

Lewis Cook and Adam Smith round off nominees for the award, with the pair both contributing an assist each.

To vote for the award head to the club’s official Twitter page, @AFCBournemouth.

The winner will be announced towards the end of the week.
