AFC Bournemouth head coach Scott Parker has received a nomination for February’s Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award.
Parker oversaw three successive wins in the league in February, making the Cherries the only team with a 100%-win record in the month.
The month began with a stylish win over Birmingham City at Vitality Stadium as goals by Ryan Christie, Dominic Solanke and Jaidon Anthony secured a 3-1 victory.
The Cherries then defeated Blackpool at Bloomfield Road, Jamal Lowe scoring in the 86th minute before full debutant Siriki Dembele scored the winning goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Scott Parker’s team continued to show fighting spirit as they completed another late turnaround against Stoke City at home, Dominic Solanke scoring the equaliser before Lowe grabbed the last-gasp winner.
Other nominees for the February award are Huddersfield Town’s Carlos Corberan, Luton Town’s Nathan Jones and Millwall’s Gary Rowett.
The winner will be announced tomorrow morning.
