AFC Bournemouth duo Scott Parker and Lloyd Kelly have received nominations in the EFL’s monthly awards.

Parker has been nominated for Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for October following a sensational run of results.

The head coach led the Cherries to five wins out of five matches, the only club in the division with a 100% record in October.

Parker’s side defeated Sheffield United, Bristol City, Stoke City, Huddersfield Town and Reading, setting a new club record for the best start to a season in the process.

The other nominees for this award include Neil Critchley (Blackpool), Russell Martin (Swansea City) and Marco Silva (Fulham).

Meanwhile, Lloyd Kelly has received a nomination for Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for October.

The defender, who has worn the armband on the pitch this season, was an integral part of the backline that only conceded one goal throughout the month.

The Cherries kept four clean sheets in October and haven’t conceded a goal away from home in over 11 hours.

Kelly has been nominated alongside Emil Riis Jakobsen (Preston North End), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) and Jerry Yates (Blackpool).

The winner of both awards will be confirmed on Friday morning, with the judging panel consisting of Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
