AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

As Gameweek 2 ends, AFC Bournemouth's official Fantasy Premier League mini-league is continuing to hot up.

There's been some big changes at the top of the league, and there are some Cherries players to look out for ahead of Gameweek 3.

We've got all areas covered in our FPL round up of Gameweek 2.

A NEW LEADER

Playing your wildcard is always a big risk, but for Daniel Kvalvågnes, it propelled him to the top of the AFC Bournemouth Official FPL Mini-League.

With plenty of changes made and Sergio Aguero as captain, Daniel scored 96 points to go top of the pile, with Marcos Alonso, Benjamin Mendy and Sadio Mane all contributing 31 points between them.

Congratulations Daniel, he sits four points ahead of his nearest competitor Toni Sirichantr, who is on 211 and Avnish Rajpal who is in third place on 208.

As it stands, Daniel is on course for one of our monthly prizes... if he keeps it up!

STEVE COOK SCORES BIG

With 14 points scored after a goal and an assist last week, Cook is hot property heading into Gameweek 3.

As proven on Saturday, his threat from set pieces could be attractive to FPL managers, and it was the first time he has been directly involved in two goals in a single league match.

With a clean sheet in Gameweek 1 as well, Cook is currently the third highest scoring defender in the game with 20 points from his first two outings - he could be a good differential as only 5.3% of managers own him.

LOOKING AHEAD

With a home game against Everton on Saturday, it could be another positive day for Callum Wilson.

In his entire career, Wilson has scored 17 goals in August, including his two in two consecutive games against Cardiff and West Ham this season.

At £6.1m, he seems a snip for at the very minimum a third striker role - he is the second highest scoring striker in the game behind Aguero.

But apart from Wilson who is in form, Ryan Fraser is still flying under the radar.

With 17 points over two gameweeks, he is sharp and crucially, taking set pieces as well. At £5.5m, he seems like he could be one of the bargains of the game currently.
